Prescriber.io

What clinicians ask first

Clinical decision support questions, answered

Does it prescribe for you? Can you trust the dosing and interaction information? What about FDA status, HIPAA and your patient data? Here are straight answers for clinicians, group leads and pharmacy teams weighing the assistant. Decision-support, not autonomous prescribing. You review and sign.

How the assistant works

No. Prescriber.io is decision-support only. It checks for drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing and suggests options. You, the licensed clinician, review every suggestion, verify against official sources, and sign off. It is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment.
It is built on clinical pharmacology references and cites its sources so you can confirm. Always verify against official sources before prescribing. The tool supports, never replaces, your clinical judgment. We do not publish accuracy figures in our marketing, by design.
Yes. It surfaces renal and hepatic dosing guidance, for example by CrCl, alongside the interaction and contraindication checks, as decision-support for you to confirm and apply.
Licensed clinicians: physicians, NPs, PAs, and clinical pharmacists. It is not for patients or consumers.
Suggestions are prompts, not directives. You exercise clinical judgment, verify against official sources, and choose. The tool is there to support that decision, not to make it.

Regulatory and data

We make no medical-device or regulatory-clearance claims. Prescriber.io is a clinical reference and decision-support tool to support your judgment, not a substitute for it.
We use HIPAA-aware hosting and offer a BAA on Enterprise. You decide what context to enter, and we minimize and protect what is needed for the check. You can read more on our privacy page. See our privacy page.
No. It is a decision-support layer alongside your workflow. Enterprise can integrate context with your EHR, but you still prescribe and sign in your own system.

Plans and getting started

Those make you run separate lookups. Prescriber.io brings the interaction, contraindication, dose-adjustment, and guideline-alternative checks into one integrated card at the point of care, written as actionable decision-support with cited sources.
No free plan. Prescriber.io is priced per clinician, with Solo, Practice, Clinic+, and Enterprise options for groups and health systems. See the pricing page for the full breakdown of what each tier includes. See decision support pricing.

Prescriber.io is a decision-support tool for licensed clinicians. It does not diagnose or prescribe and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment. Verify against official sources. Final prescribing decisions always rest with the responsible clinician.
